The High-Stakes Challenge of Facility Decommissioning
Decommissioning a data center is more than just pulling cables; it is a critical security event. A single misplaced hard drive or an unrecorded asset can lead to catastrophic data breaches of your proprietary information. At Viixim, we provide a turnkey solution that mitigates risk through our proprietary software. GPS-tracked chain of custody for every single asset, from your loading dock to final disposition.

Our Core Decommissioning Specializations
We offer a comprehensive suite of services tailored to hyperscale facilities, colocation centers, and private enterprise server rooms.

-
White-Glove De-Installation: Our technicians carefully unrack and de-manufacture servers, storage arrays, and networking gear without disrupting live environments.
-
Onsite & Offsite Data Destruction: We provide mobile shredding units for onsite destruction or secure, software-verified erasure (NIST 800-88) in our high-security facilities.
-
Infrastructure Strip-Outs: Removal of specialized infrastructure, including UPS systems, CRAC units, PDUs, and miles of copper and fiber cabling.
-
Maximum Value Recovery: Our global remarketing network identifies high-value components for resale, offsetting your decommissioning costs.
Our Proprietary QR-Code Chain of Custody Process
We don’t just move equipment; we digitize it. Our process is built around our proprietary software platform, creating an immutable digital audit trail.
Stage 1
Rack-Level Serialization: Before decommissioning begins, our team generates a unique, encrypted QR code for every server rack. This links the physical location to our digital inventory.
Stage 2
Component Scanning: As servers are unmounted, each serial number is scanned and "nested" under its parent Rack QR code.
Stage 3
Pallet-Level Aggregation: Once equipment is prepped for transport, we generate a Master Pallet QR Code. This creates a digital manifest of every item on that pallet, accessible instantly via our cloud portal.
Stage 4
Secure Transport & Arrival: At our facility, the Pallet QR is scanned upon arrival. If the digital manifest doesn't match the physical count, our system triggers an immediate security alert.

Our Eco-Friendly "Green-Decom" Process
We are committed to a circular economy. When we decommission a site, our goal is Zero-Waste-to-Landfill.

-
Audit & Inventory: We create a baseline digital map of every asset using our proprietary software.
-
Secure Logistics: Equipment is transported in GPS-tracked, with 24/7 monitoring.
-
Eco-Processing: Items are separated for resale or dismantled into raw materials section to send to our Partnered R2v3-certified facilities.
